    John L Minge, age 94, of Malvern, passed away October 10, 2017. John was born to the late John and Louise Holle Minge on July 9, 1923 in Marshall County, KS.  John was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church. He was a very creative person who loved to work with his hands and enjoyed making walking canes and bird houses. John also had a love for hunting and fishing.

    John is preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, 4 sisters and a son, Douglas Minge.

    John is survived by two sons, Roe (Mary) Minge of Texas and Creighton (Evonne) Minge of Maryland; a daughter, Adrianne (Jimmy) Scott of Missouri; more than 20 grandchildren, and many friends and loved ones.

    I miss his smiling face when he would come to visit his wife everyday. He was one of the most generous men I ever knew. I will miss him. Now he's back with her and happily walking with Jesus.
